How to Use Troop 41 Website
- If you don't receive messages broadcasted to the whole troop,
subscribe to the new mailing list as described below. You can subscribe as many addresses
as you wish (one at a time; the list accepts only a single addres at a time).
- How to subscribe to the troop's new mailing list?
We have setup a mailing list for Troop41. Instead of
having to copy/paste all addresses into each message,
you just need to send a message to everyone@troop41.org. It will get
sent to everyone on the list (and the message will get archived!).
Also, you will be able yourself to
subscribe/unsubscribe etc. I will control that
only troop members subscribe so we don't get the
spammers on the list (it's private list: only members
can post messages to it). The message archive is available only
to list members, as well.
To subscribe, please, go to the troop website where, on the member
page, you'll find a link to the mailing list. There,
you'll be able to subscribe. Please, do this ASAP.
After you subscribe you'll get within 5-10 minutes a
message to verify that the e-mail you provided is
yours. Then, I'll go and approve it (takes me
10 minutes to an hour) and then you'll get the welcome
message.
Let me know if there are any problems. I'll be happy
to help you.
- If you haven't done so, visit the troop Member Page (via
Members Login on the left). There, you can find a list of e-mail messages to all members,
in case you need to broadcast a message to all of the troop. Also there, you will find
contact information to all scouts and adult leaders.
